Why is the button animation not working? (QAB)

Usually, when the button animation for the Quick Announcement Bar is not working it is because the bar is set to "make the entire bar clickable".

The button animation feature does not apply to all links - it only applies to buttons. To add a button, please select Add button to the bar. Once a button has been created, the button animation setting will take effect.
